in collaboration with the Unity for Human Rights Organization, organized a three-day training course titled “Environment and Climate Change within the Sustainable Development Goals.” The seminar, attended by 45 professors from various faculties of our university and the Directorate of Education in Wasit, featured consultant trainer Mahend Al-Qurayshi. The training focused on the United Nations Development Programme and contributing to environmental rehabilitation and development efforts in Iraq, emphasizing addressing root causes and taking necessary measures to mitigate environmental degradation, climate change, and disaster shocks through capacity building and technical support.
